TravelXL.com any good?

Hello everyone

I just found a very good deal for a hotel in Mexico with TravelXL but have never heard of them. Anyone with experience of them? :confused:

Also, in their T&C they say they're a company based in California. Does that mean that I'll be charged in dollars even though I'm being quoted in pounds?

    just wondered, as if they are, and they are sponsoring a Premiership Football team (albeit West Ham) they must be quite high profile.

    Just not sure if its them though....

    No, I just checked and it's XL, a holiday airline, that sponsors West Ham.

    TravelXL are nothing to do with the XL Leisure Group who are a UK based tour operator and charter airline, as well as owning other travel companies. XL do sponsor West Ham.

    According to the travelxl.com website they have an office in London but they are not ABTA or ATOL bonded. I work in the travel industry and have never heard of them

    did they charge you in dollars or pounds for your transactions? have you actually checked with the airline that your booking exists? sorry, i'm just a bit paranoid sometimes :rolleyes:
