Credit Crunch? What Credit Crunch?

I think this is an interesting discussion.
Just because it doesn't actually give information (as such) that may help with a CC problem or notify others of an excellent new product (0% for life of balance, lol wishful thinking there Poo!) doesn't mean it's not a valid point that can be discussed.
I am actually one of the people who are being crunched and it's hurting to the point that I'm going from paying my CC's min+a little extra to being unable to make the payments from next month not because my debt has increased but because the CC issuers have decided they want more quicker.
MBNA have upped their minimum re-payment to 5% of the balance which has over doubled my payments to them! If I'd been able to afford to pay that much off my account a month I'd have already been doing it!
I don't know what I'll do next month. I may be getting a few defaults for the first time in 7 years!
Anyway, good discussion!

I think Bethanyrayne is probably just having a bad day as posts I've read of hers before have been helpful and friendly ....I'm not saying it's right but perhaps there is a reason ... Play nicely everyone ...

Hi, is that what they've told you? are you sure it's not the lower of 5% or interest plus charges plus £10 or something like that because this debate's come up before....
If I'm wrong excuse me but your repayment may not be what you think...For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -

The post wasn't SUPPOSED to provide any information - it was to promote a healthy discussion and debate of the recent experience of others!
sheesh, :rolleyes:0 -

Obviously some people found it interesting as it has generated responses.
If you don't find a thread interesting click back and read something else, comments like yours above are not necessary.
