Hi,
Not sure if this is in the correct forum but firstdirect are offering £50 to people if they open a current account, I have copied this from their web site-
For a limited period, when you apply for a Bank Account online and transfer your salary/income, we will add £50 to your account.
Joining incentives are valid for three months from the date the account is opened and will be credited within 28 days of the criteria being met. Incentives are only paid to customers who have not previously held an account with first direct and are limited to one per customer or joint account relationship.
