i hope someone might be able to help as i have already signed up for the half price connection for and 18 month contract with bt.
i just got a letter form bt confirming my offer that i got half price connection for an 18 month contract but it also says that i alos must make 10 chargabe calls with bt in a month as part of this offer.
1 what happens if i move my service by cps to primus and what are the penatlies for not using the phone at least 10 times? will i need to pay the other £62.50 for the connection?
2 how strong are they about this rule and has anyone been through this with bt?
any help that anyone can give would be great,

The "rule" is part of the ts + cs of the offer, if you break the ts + cs they will bill you for the other £62.50.
Can you cancel this (and start again - see the other threads about the latest £30 offer for installation)0 -
thanks for your help Quentin, yes i know about the new offer but i am already connected as of last thursday! never mind!0

I wonder whether UK 01/02/03 calls made at the weekend with the 1280 prefix ('inclusive' on the Unlimited Weekend Plan) would count?
They do for Caller Display and 1571.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
hi heinz and thanks.
i jsut checked my letter and it says, you must make 10 chargeble or inclusive calls, so i do have the plan with free weekemd and evening calls, so do you think i could use the 1280 prefix and this would count if i do move to primus on the cps?0 -

It's what I do (via an Orchid) - so I get free Caller Display - so if the letter says 'chargeable or inclusive', they'll certainly count.i jsut checked my letter and it says, you must make 10 chargeble or inclusive calls, so i do have the plan with free weekemd and evening calls, so do you think i could use the 1280 prefix and this would count if i do move to primus on the cps?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market.
