It normally is, but I guess not on all. Sorry, about that. Has been the case on all the ones we have sen in stores put up, as have ben measuring them to see what will fit in garden. On the Asda one is is actually the full trampoline size, not the mat - have just checked.

We now have the 7.5 foot trampoline up in the garden. The trampoline was a doddle to put up, very easy, very quick.

It is plenty big enough for DD. And I have had a go and enough room for me too.

Sze is actually ideal for us as we have a small garden, so those limited wit size like us will be fine.

Nt deal for having multiple children on, but then you aren't supposed to anyway.

However - the enclousre but - having big problems fitting this on. The brackets seem to be too tight to fit round the poles. We can manage it. Have a friend coming roud later and seeing if the two blokes can do it together using brute force.

For now, DD is on it without enclosure. We are out and about so can supervise ok. And I hink with one child at a time it is fine.

Can you tell me if its any bigger than 7.5 ft? I only have space if its that size as we're squeezing it in?
    TIA

Did you have any luck with the enclosure?

We got one of the 7.5 ft versions and really couldn't figure the instructions for getting the enclosure in place. It's like a 3 legged stool, as soon as you get some points hooked another pings off. It's been like candid camera here this afternoon and the kids are disappointed that they can't use it yet :-(

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the advice, we managed to get that far but then couldn't seem to get the enclosure net with it's "ring" around the top to stay in the plastic caps on top of the metal poles. The instructions are a little IKEA for us :-)

I'm wondering where the poles for the enclosure should connect as there are no guidance marks nor is it clear in the instruction leaflet. Not sure whether to connect on the "T Piece" or just below. At the moment we are below and having problems so we'll disassemble this bit and try again.

The other thing we were wondering was which part of the enclosure ring should slot into the plastic caps on the poles, i.e. is it the metal joints on the ring or just the black plastic?

I guess I'm not cut out for this - it would have been helpful if Asda supplied this product with a better instruction guide particularly when kids safety is at stake!

Be careful. These trampolines are rubbish quality and can be dangerous. I have been reserching the trampoline market. Did you know there is no safety standard (British or European) for trampoline. Some suppliers claim they have TUV or GS testing but this doesn't mean anything as there is no standard to test against! The cruxt of the matter is that to make cheap trampoline they must use cheap, low quality components which can lead to accidents due to structural failure.

Remember the saying "you get what you pay for" I had a cheapo trampoline. It lasted one season before falling appart. I bought a good make last week (Super Tramp) and the difference is stunning!!
