Egg Spend £50 get £10 back

I am currently taking advantage of an anniversary 0% balance transfer with Egg - as per advice from this site during this balance transfer period I do not use the card for any purchases because I know that my monthly payments come off the balance transfer before the purchases . Yesterday Egg offered me £10 if I spend £50 by the end of Nov - whilst this seems a good offer I just wanted to flag it's potential downside to anyone else in my situation. ;)

  • I've had this too, but a few months ago when I hadn't used the card for a few months, used it and promptly paid it off, did have to chase them for my £10 though.
2p off is still 2p off!
  • I've been offered the free £10 too. Fortunately, my anniversary period isn't until January so i'll be talking full advantage ;D
