Bradford & Bingley

At the suggestion of MSE, we applied for an eSavings account with Bradford & Bingley early in April. A day or so later (11th April), we received an email confirming our application. Direct Debit forms arrived later in the month.

Last week, we chased them by phone, and were told our application had just been processed and a welcome pack would be despatched. Today we chased again, and were told that they'd been inundated with applications, and ours was still on the pile.

That's a over a month. Useless service, and now they've lost the chance of our business. I'm sure in the great scheme of things we won't be noticed.

I remember the saying 'the customer is King'. In my business, all customers & potential customers are dealt with as I would like to be. What a pity so few companies seem to have heard that expression now.

Baff
Exclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. More than one just makes you look/sound like a prat.
Should OF, would OF
. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.
