Last year our family of four used £800 worth of deals and stayed in a siblu park in France. I think I had to pay an additional £160 (approx). It was a little basic but we had a fab time. When booking I was told that not all the discounts displayed on the website applied if you were using tesco points but it was still a very good deal.

How about a gite with French Life? You can cross the channel really cheaply with Norfolkine or Speedferries, for as little as £40 return.
We've previously gone free to Disney 3 times with Bridge and last year went to Marbella with XL but alas Tesco no longer do vouchers for these companies0 -
I just used £900 of vouchers to book a Haven holiday for a week in the school summer holidays.
We are staying in their platinum top of the range caravan and that includes bedding, funwork passes, gas and elec etc.
I will buy loads of food to take with us, especially chocolate and sweets for the kids, research what is nearby that will accept Tesco clubcard deals, I also look on the "day out" section of this site for 2 for 1 admission offers. Also I will google for nice walks in the area.
Brit Trips days out have been great, especially the National Trust free admission one. Saved me over £20.
You really can make it a cheap but very enjoyable holiday if you prepare and do your research.Money SPENDING Expert0 -

Have you thought about a barge on a canal? We've used our cc vouchers for two holidays on a narrowboat, and are saving up for the next one.
Excellent fun; relaxing pace; the children love joining in as they can help at the locks and even steer the boat; great waterside pubs; and you get to see parts of the UK you'd never see otherwise.
Oooh...can't wait to go again...0 -

You could try combining a number of nights in youth hostels (they do family rooms and there are some lovely ones on the beach) with maybe a couple of nights at a nice hotel. I think the family rooms are around £55 a night - so maybe 5 nights, plus maybe another £300 for a couple of nights in a hotel - this would then leave you money to spend on daytrips (on the holiday) and a few meals in Cafe Rouge, Slug & Lettuce, Cafe Uno, Harry Ramsdens, La Tasc, Bella ITalia
We did cornwall 2 years ago using YHA, even stayed in a teepee (?sp) for 2 nights... it was fantastic and they even let us use the vouchers to pay for the food we ate there! which was usually locally sourced and delicious0 -
If anyone has a bit more to spend Tesco are now doing Ocean Village Holidays.0

Having spoke to hubby he has decided he does not want to go abroad but would like to go to cornwall, so I looked at their site and we were thinking of doing a week at perren sands in a supertent or a yurt has anyone stayed in either of these?
were worried about the tent being too hot/cold depending on weather, so I thought a yurt may be better(?)
then spend the rest on a hotel or something for a bit of luxury!0
