I might give them a call to check on that then, although the way I read it is that you can only open one account at the current promotional rate (i.e. 6.30%) and as this new offer has succeeded the previous 6.05% promotional rate, and is no longer available, then I should be ok
I think the key point is that you can't transfer funds between these accounts so need new money to satisfy the T&C's.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Suggest you call your second 'intro' account "no deposits allowed".0 -

As this is fixed rate does the account close once you make a withdrawal?
Going by this it sounds like its a fixed rate with instant access:
Account accessibility It's your money so access it without prior notice or penalty. Get money to a nominated bank account, normally within three working days of your request. Check your balances online, it's so easy. As are deposits, of course. We offer you a variety of options for paying money into your account, the only difficulty is deciding which one suits you best. No withdrawals can be made in the first three working days after your account is opened.0 -

If you make a payment into it via your debit card it should be almost instant, otherwise it will be in the queue for extra security checks (according to their CS) and take a few hours to show up.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
