Hellllooooo ... you've only just posted, but your light's still on.... you're in the shower right now, aren't you? Expenses.... wow, those are big. I count my expenses in my monthly budget, cos I'm self employed - only ever get to set them against tax, and I actually operate my business stuff from my personal account (ssssh! don't tell my bank) cos I refuse to pay for business banking. It sounds like a lot of your plans are coming to fruition, mizmir, the path really is onwards and upwards now, thats great.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hope everything has gone well with the assessment and great on the extra £125.0

Just taking a break now - first time on since 11 - not bad going. Making good progress with the assessment - just doing class plans now then a couple of reviews to do and it is done. Should be finished today ready to print out and send off first thing tomorrow!
Expenses are crippling. OH has been on several international trips of late for work and has to pay airfares up front - then they can take anything up to 2 months to repay the money . Mine are not so bad - but even a peak trip to London is a couple of hundred - and it is all on cards! Grrrrh. Am tryng to get as much as possible paid for up front but it isn't always possible.0 -
I know what you mean miz, i had to lend Mr. B my card for his expenses, and i hope to see it paid off as soon as cheque comes in..Where do these companies think the bloody money comes from? Excuse swearing!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Hi Miz,
Could you both not apply for a 0% purchase card so that if it takes 2 months to be repaid, at least you are not incurring interest while the debt is outstanding?
In any case, if you do incur interest, I'd recharge it to the company - it's their fault!

Can OH's employer not give her a company credit card - and yours too - it seems all wrong that you should be out of pocket.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

I agree with Seaxwyn about a company card0

Sadly no way we'd get company cards - education sector won't do that! But should get my act together to get a 0% at least for OH - mine I am trying hard to have paid in advance.
Finished assessment this morning and sent off - then spent half the day in bed with a headache! But am feeling a lot better now. Have had another £45 for dog training and my spread betting loophole profit has credited to my account - easiest £99 ever! Must now get down to some matched betting - have some reloads that are in danger of running out if I don't get my act together.0 -
You did really well ith the spreadbetting! I started going today too - with the bonus, there was £350 in my account, and now I have £355! I've broken the drought, and now I need to keep going.
Sorry about the head, but the matched betting sounds good - don't prolong the headache tho.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ah but I just took the money and ran! Did one trade - lost 30p - and withdrew the bonus. That gave me palpitations! Wouldn't dare do it for real!0
