Excellent stuff - me too for sympathising with you on the being knackered, tho I'm recovering from it rather than suffering from it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Morning all. On briefly over coffee before I go and get on with my dog training assessment - has to be sent off tomorrow so I really MUST finish it. Dragon - will use the cash to live on till pay day I think and pay the cheques in then off a debt - so half and half. Am down on repayments this month but have had a lot of work expenses many still to come in so am expecting to be able to do a big hit later in the month - fingers crossed. In fact I need to revise the current debt figures as they have gone up due to expenses. Not sure whether to do this then knock them down again when paid up or leave it on the grounds they will be covered (but not see the debt moving much). Oh the psychology of debt management! :rotfl:0

Right - have decided to follow Taxi's lead on this one and include the unpaid expenses in the debt figure - shoots it back way over the £20K figure but we have in the order of £2K due back to us over the next few weeks or months (depending on how efficient work is at paying). Easier to manage this way (don't have to keep two tallies) and will get a nice psychological boost when the expenses payments come in!
Good start to today - a payment came from a US publisher I had done some extra work for - they had said they would give me $125 for it - but they have given me £125! Wonderful people! It's gone straight off one of the cards. Today am finishing my assessment - has to be with them by Friday so must be in the post first thing tomorrow at the latest to be safe. Made good progress yesterday so today it is mainly writing up practical stuff. Am getting there.
Will allow myself little treat breaks on here - so if you see the light on for too long give me a kick!0 -
That's good news on the extra £125 :T
Good luck with finishing that assessment.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Well i get a boost from paying stuff off, but do find it a bit of a merry go round...as something else creeps in to build it back up again! We too are awaiting some money owed to MR.B for expenses, quite a bit over.. £800, would be nice if we got it some time before Christmas!
In the mean time i always feel like it has been paid out twice over, if that makes sense..so when we do get it back doesn't really make a dent!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
