Evening Miz! As you know I am a great follower of the snowball calculator......so I def reckon it is the way forward!

Yes - I agree. Also the danger that money off the OD is difficult to track - so easy to spend again. Money off a card is gone - and the incentive not to use cards that have low LOB but high purchase interest is very high!

It's a hard one between overdraft and cards.Looks like you're swayed towards tpaying the cards off first. It's all about what keeps you motivated in the end.

Question for all you MSE savvy people..... signatures? I have been trying to add a couple of things to mine - not much - it comes out at a couple of lines. Yet I get an error message when I try to save it - says I am only allowed 6 lines - I have nowhere near 6 lines  - so what in MSE terms constitutes 1 line?? Is it a particular number of letters?? All very frustrating - have given up sig altogether in protest!

I don't understand it either - I just keep "tweaking" mine until it allows it to stay! If MSE can't count to 6, what hope is there for the rest of us with debt!!!

Have discovered the secret deep in the bowels of MSE (mmmm - perhaps not the best image...!)....

Sigs can be 5 lines (not sure why the error says 6!), 300 characters - but (and this seems to be the key) - the characters seem to count html codes - so if you add colour or change the size it adds to the characters!!

Off to try a nice plain sig!
