Thanks for the messages and sorry for going AWOL - has been a difficult few weeks with work pressures and not being very well - which has also meant that finances have gone to pot. So have been avoiding coming on here - stupid I know :( . Anyway - am back and will sort out where we are tomorrow - try to work out how to get things back on track.

Will also be catching up with everyone. Hope things are going well.

Morning peeps. Feeling a bit embarrassed about getting in a mess with stuff when I know we are well off compared to many - can pay minimum payments, get credit if needed and cover the important bills so nothing is desperate. Just so impatient to be debt free and get frustrated when money seems to just pour out and debts go up rather than down. On the up side we are owed about £1K expenses from work. Downside is they have missed the payment for this month so it is delayed to next - so annoying. But I really need to get a grip on spending - is getting out of control again and I am not sure what on. I know - spending diary! Keep starting then forgetting to record stuff :o. Must try harder.

Anyway am off out with the dogs to make the most of the sun then will sort out what needs to be done today to get back on track - and to find out exactly where we are again. Talk later.

Hi Mizmir - I hope that coming back means you feel well again, sorry you've been so poorly. When I was ill in May, I ordered lots of ready meals - I live on my own, so cooking wasn't on the cards for more than essentials. Don't worry about falling off the wagon when you're ill - as you say, your situation isn't desperate, you'll soon be back on track - and the footie starts next month!
