Hi taxi and all - yes I am fine - thanks for asking. Absolutely shattered after the past couple of weeks - it has been very hard work. But is done and I am having a weekend off work to catch up and get back on the straight and narrow. Then we are off to Dublin on Tues night - OH working but I am on holiday so am just going to chill.

Got drenched today at our local fete thingy - still very grey and miserable here. Tomorrow have nothing on but a bit of dog training which is both relaxing and money making - the perfect combination! Have updated my budgets and done sorted my online banking so am now catching up with all the MSE diaries!

I know what you mean about relaxing and moneysaving - I feel the same when I see my clients.

I hope you manage to get a relaxing evening, and have a good day tomorrow!

A reminder why I don't bet for real! Just did a SNR on a horse at odds of 15 - thought it would be in and out very quickly at BF.... and it won at the bookies !
Just withdrawn over £400 - (only £22.50 of that profit - the rest is my money!!) - just hope this bookie pays out quickly - leaves the bank account a little exposed!

Blimey, odds of 15 - well, I guess thats why they call the real stuff gambling! Remember you still got profit from it tho! Good for you. The dog training sounds nice, and a trip to Dublin sounds lurvely, I bet you really enjoy it. Have a good day today too.

Morning all. Just checking in briefly before I head off dog training - will catch up properly later. Having debate with OH about vehicles right now and can't work out what is best. My car is once again having to go into the garage - leaking radiator this time - 3rd time in 2 months - and so far over £1K expense. Her car MOTed last month and was told £300+ work imminent. Trouble is both are getting older (hers 7 years mine nearly 10) and so can't see this improving. So we are discussing whether we should cut our losses and find a single car between us. Would be awkward at times but think we could manage - especially if we also had a scooter (OH has her full license for that. And have the best features of mine and hers - mine is a van style which is great for the dogs - hers is a 4x4 (but a little one not a chelsea tractor!) which is very handy when we have to drive on and off fields (which is surprisingly often with the dog stuff we do!). So am wondering about trying to find a 4x4 Kangoo - anyone any experience of these? Of course we would have to put it on credit which is not ideal but am thinking in the long term we would not be paying out so much in repairs or worrying about breaking down - and we'd save on having two car expenses.
Is this crazy with our level of debt??! Mmmn - just thinking aloud really but would appreciate points of view!
