Well am back. Enjoyed the haircut - not the shopping. Trudged round - couldn't find a thing. Everything has huge heels that don't look like they are meant to be walked on! I finally ended back where I started and bought a pair of boots I hadn't seen first time round - and then for good measure bought a couple of shirts and smart jeans - not very DFW but first clothes I have bought in more than 6 months and they were all reasonable.

I think after everything that has happened to you and your OH recently a little bit of a treat is good - are the shirts ones that will still look good on you as you shrink?

Karma and Taxi - agree that the DFW stuff is tiring and time consuming. I think that is part of my problem - I do get obsessive about it and then other things suffer. Am going to have to keep things balanced.

Hmm - obsessive not good, however you are busting this and then life will be so much better for both you and OH (and the hounds!)

Will see you all in the book shop - or maybe it is not too early for the wine bar!

Ah no you see you need to go into the bookshop first so that you have something to read whilst slurping the wine! and if we meet up it gives us something to talk about :rotfl:

I would love to be able to shop for shoes!!! One day, when I am debt free, I am going to buy shoes that are not reduced.......ooh the thought of buying full priced shoes......scary :rotfl:

    anyway, DFW obsessed.......us

I hate shoe and clothes shopping - I did whilst I was slim as well! Having a uniform was great - very little shopping needed :rotfl:

Morning all. Quiet on the boards this morning - must be because hypno is out at the slopes. ;)

Had a lovely evening yesterday meeting up with some old uni friends (we left nearly 25 years ago!) - has been years since we were all together and we don't do very well at communicating in between. But we all just slotted in again and it was lovely to catch up with them all.

Today I am having a quiet day - staying at home (so should be NSD) and doing whatever I feel like. The kitchen does need clearing up but apart from that (which is just sorting out dishes etc) I am not going to set myself anything to do. Might play with dutching, might read a book, might go for a long walk, might stay on here all day! Whatever I do - no list!

Feels almost immoral....! Why is that??!  :o

    Hi Miz!

Yep, one tiny wee post from Hypno - everyone shushes! I was naughty, after catching up on my sleep and recovering from a migraine yesterday, I stayed up much too late, and only got up today at 9am! Just think, hypno had been at the ski club for 2 hours by then :o:o:o shameful.

Your meet yesterday sounds lovely - as does mooching about the house today! I got trapped in the house yesterday by the migraine, so after a nice bath, I'm off out to town.

Let me know if you start checking out dutching! Post results *here*!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well I spent the morning exploring dutching - think I am getting the hang of it but am waiting for the big boys on the gambling board to check over my figures.

Then I was feeling lousy so the dogs and I went back to bed - and we have just woken up! I obviously needed it as am feeling so much better now - even if I have slept half the day away!

Have just had a (very) late lunch and am now going to get the kitchen cleared up - even I can't bear it to be such a mess!
