Nvidia Dual View+Game

I've been trying to get dual view set up on an Nvidia Geforce 6800 Ultra to work with Guild Wars. I can set the dual view up, and everything works fine. I get the desktop on one screen, and I can open any programs up to the second screen. The pointer flips from one screen to the other fine on all programs, except when I run Guild Wars. The pointer seems to be locked to the desktop screen, and I can't get it to move onto the game screen. The quality of the graphics is top notch. I can get the game on the second screen, just can't use the mouse with it. The mouse is needed with this game.
I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers. I know it's not a hardware fault, the problem only occurs with this game. I've got no overclocking in place, because with the specs of the computer it doesn't need overclocking. I'm sure this is something to do with the settings, or maybe a glitch with this game. Anyone else come across this and found a cure? It's been really frustrating trying to get this going.

PSU......Tagan 480W

Are you thinking that it is the way the game is designed.0

Very interesting.....
This might sound weird but it sounds to me like its to do with the video driver. When in a certain video mode it can't recognise the mouse, or at least can't do the crossover from desktop to video driver...
Conflict maybe? Buggered Driver maybe? Try running guild wars in windowed mode on the 2nd monitor. That way see if your mouse appears on the screen at all, and then in the game window.
If it works in the game its to do with the full screen mode obv...
If it works aroudn the game but not in, its to do with the video driver the games using...
Hope that helps..

The mouse works fine if the game is windowed. It runs over both screens no probs. It's only if the game is in full screen mode that the mouse wont move over to the game screen. I tried getting the boy to play the game in windowed mode, but he doesn't like it so I'm trying to get this working in full screen. The game and mouse works fine if I run the card in 'clone' mode.
I'm 99% sure that there is nothing wrong with the drivers. If they were corrupt, there would be other symptoms. There are none at all. Everything else works fine. That's why I think that it may be something in the settings, or a glitch with this particular game.
Has anyone else actually come accross this type of problem before? How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Try running other games that use the same video driver in full screen mode.
Any fps/rpg 3d type game would do the trick. At least you can then determine whether its something in guild war settings for example..[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I should've thought of that. It may take a bit of time to catch him when he's not playing Guild Wars, but I'll give it a go.
At least it will tell what needs adjusting. Either the game, or the graphics settings. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
