What is the difference between Mozilla Suite and Firefox and Thunderbird?

Mozilla Suite is a big bulky package with a browser (that has lots of different settings and preferences), an email client and other stuff built in.
With the Firefox, the emphasis is on having a very lightweight and basic browser where you use plugins to get it to do anything special.
I think the plan is to keep Mozilla Suite ticking along but in the long term stand-alone products like Firefox and Thunderbird are where Mozilla are focused

I'll stick with the Firefox and Thunderbird then0
