    That's not true because there are fixed costs for RTA cases. The solicitors charge £800 plus a percentage of the agreed damages plus disbursements.

    To the OP, I wouldn't accept a settlement so soon - you really need to see how long the injury is likely to last for before agreeing to any settlement. I'd wait until it settles down, at the very least.
