Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer Problem

I have a Hotpoint RFA52 Fridge/Freezer.

Over the past few days the fridge has lost its temperature and is barely keeping cool (verging on warm).

We have tried turning the thermostat up to the max but this has little effect.

The freezer is working fine though!!

Thans in advance for any help given.

Assuming the compressor is making the usual noises, it sounds like the thermostat has gone u/s Have a look here for spares and tips http://ukwhitegoods.co.uk/

we had a similar problem there was a build up of ice ,the engineer had to remove the back panel and he moved the sensor at the back , even though its meant be frost free we have to shut it down every month to stop the build up again.
