Replacing lower wooden panel on external door?

I need to put a cat flap in the back door, it's a two panelled door with the top half glass and the lower half wood. Does anyone know whether the bottom panel is replaceable?
My plan was to remove the original panel and cut a hole in the new one, when I move I can then put the old one back and the door will be back to normal
Here's some pics of the door/panel in question...

Looks like the panel is a piece of plywood held in place by the quarter-round beading.
Just prise the beading away and the panel should come out easily.0 -
Thanks, by beading do you mean the bevelled edge? It doesn't look like a thin strip that had been added on, it looks more like an entire piece of wood that has a shaped edge. Have attached a close up pic to see what you think.
If it is just a thin strip that can be prised off how would I get the beading to stay back in place once I put my new panel in though?
Also, do you know if the panels are sold taylor made or do I just buy any old piece of plywood?
Thanks0 -
Just fit the cat flap and dont worry about it until you are moving out. then take out the ply and it is easy , go to any diy shop they will cut it to size, it would cost about a fiver job done. pdr0
