Just a little poll of MSEers to see who they feel are the best internet based savings accounts.
Overall we can get an idea of the best institutions via a poll.
Please take in account everything in making your decision like, interest rates, customer service, internet site, ease of use, consistently good interest rate, rate guarantee, call centre ect.
I have only polled the top ten providers by interest rate according to a web based table.

Icesave - good site, painless transfers, consistently good rates
Others in the list I have:
BM - good site, painless transfers, good fixed-term rates
B&B - reasonable site, painfull transfers, one or two decent fixed-term rates
Might be a bit short on votes as no Nationwide, Coventry, Newcastle etc..?0 -

Rubbish instant access savings account rates which change (and by this i mean go down...) every 2 months :mad:Icesave - good site, painless transfers, consistently good rates
Great instant access savings account rates which are guaranteed to pay at least 0.35% above Base Rate until 2011 and at least match Base Rate until 2013.0 -

ICICI for me, however it's my first and only web account. I will be applying for Birmingham and Midshire soon – I hope."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

I suppose it depends on whether best means best interest rate or best to use, I voted for Icesave as they pay me decent interest but I like using the Natwest interface though their rates are naff, Smile used to be brilliant but now pay totally pathetic interest rates and ING have gone this way too.
