windows/french doors

Hi I am looking to get window replaced with french doors but have no idea how much it would cost. Anyone had this done recently who could suggest a ballpark figure before i phone round for estimates to be done?

750 quid for the doors is a good ballpark (can be a lot cheaper, but 750 should be good quality). enlarging the space and fitting, about 100-150 pounds for labour.

I paid about £550 I think for the labour & fitting.

The doors will depend on how wide, wider being much more expensive. But (I think) up to 180 cms wide is reasonable, after that it gets expensive.

thanks for your help, i could have been quoted £2000 and my son's left leg and thought it was a bargain!

Whats the width of the doors?
Thats where you will get a bargain or be stung.
Because if you got a smallish gap you can buy them ready made in B&Q or Wicks or similar.

£900 i would say for brickwork removal and doors fitted
