Virtual Voicemail

Hi,

I am stating a new business and would like to get a virtual voicmail system. So people can ring and leave messages and I can retrieve them.

Can anybody recommend the best deal for this.

You can get a free 0844 number at www.esms.com and it will take messages and deliver them to you by email. There are also paid-for options if you'd prefer an 01 or 02 number.

I will second Browntoa's recommendation for https://www.sipgate.co.uk on the basis that they give you a free 01 or 02 number. They deliver messages as an email attachment and you don't have to credit your account or even use the VoIP service at all to take advantage of the voicemail. I also use www.voipfone.co.uk, which offers free 056 numbers (which cost the same to call as an 01 or 02 number).

Which does not encourage people to call you, as they will pay 6p connection and 5p a minute 24/7 from a landline,more from a mobile to call that 0844 numbering range.
