Sorry this will probably sound like a really dumb post to most but I have a few Q's about my (hopefully) first cc.
I understand that they are doing 12 months 0% on purcahses. Does that mean I can spend whatever my limit is and pay no interest on it? Do I still need to pay a monthly minimum payment?
Also they have 2 cards. 1 is the standard and one is the platinum. Which should I apply for? I assume the platinum is better but if I get declined for this one will they maybe offer me the standard one?
Any answers to these Q's really appreciated. Thanks

Yes, spend upto your limit with no interest.
Yes you have to pay the minimum monthly payment, though its not really relevant since you can spend what youve just paid in . i.e. say your balance is 5000, monthly 100, so debit balance drops to 4900 once the 100 shows in the account, then you can spend that 100 straightaway again to reach back to 5000.
Which card ?
They appear the same, though your likely get a higher limit on the platinum (dependign on salary).
The other option you will have is to opt for nector or 0.25% cashback0
