Disneyland Paris Tips

Hi there

We go to Disneyland Paris once ever year.

Here are my tips for saving money and still enjoying yourselves:

Travel by Car if you can, via Eurotunnel.
Then pay for your Eurotunnel tickets with Tesco Vouchers.

Load your boot of your car up with drinks, snacks, crisps etc... Then take a lightweight rucksack with bits in to the Park each day. Buying stuff like this inside the Parks is a real rip-off, and you know the kids always want something!

If staying at a Disney Hotel, stay at Cheyenne or Santa Fe (Cheyenne is slightly better)
No point in paying extra for better rated Hotel that has more facilities like swimming pools etc... if you are going to be at the Parks all day long.
Cheyenne is just a very pleasant 15min walk to the Parks, or 2min free bus ride.

For lunch, grab some baguettes from the Marne la Valee Station on your way past it to the Parks. Very nice and much cheaper than the rubbish in the Parks. Stick them in your handy rucksack until lunchtime!

For Dinner, if you must eat in the Restaurants in Disney Village, they are all very expensive, but go for Mickey Cafe everytime. Its the same high prices as RainForest Cafe and Planet Hollywood, but the kids get the added bonus of the Characters coming to the table for autographs and photos. Plus a free drinks cup to take home.

Try and use an independent travel agent, maybe one that works from home, as they can sometimes tweak a deal that little bit exra for you. I've use www.realdealholidays.co.uk the last few times.
