Maximum items attached to 40mm waste pipe?

Continuing my plumbing quest, would people recommend having a dishwasher, washing machine, and sink attached to a standard 40mm waste pipe? It seems like too much to me, particarly seeing as I may use both the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time.
Thanks
Thanks

I have that arrangement, I haven't had any problems since it was installed 4 yrs ago. We have had the dishwasher and washing maching on the go at the same time as well.
There is a sink waste connection that has the two spiggots for that specific purpose.
Having said all this, there is bound to be a plumber along to tell you
this is a big no-no0 -
We have this in our house and no problems. Like you've described...the trap has two spigots for this very reason.0

Thanks Bungarm, you never pointed out my spelling mistake on the word spigot0
