    You could just work more hours?

    This is not for the Benefits board anyway. The board is about getting people their entitlement, not discussing politics. For clarification, please see the sticky at the top of the board.

    My apologies, I didn't mean to post in the wrong place.
    As for working more hours, I work plenty of hours they are just not on my contract of employment and my employer is very happy with the wording of "as and when required" above my basic hours. You need to have a contracted 25 hours a week or more if you are single to be entitled to Working Tax Credits.

    Anyway, sorry again for the wrong place of my post.
