Talk Talk broadband - i gave up in the end

What a joke, TalkTalk advertised no connection fee over the weekend,3rd - 5th May i couldnt get through online late on the 5th so no go. I have just spent the last 3 hrs trying to get it resolved, i have been passed from pillar to post, spent 50 mins on their 0870 number unaware that its 20p/min whiilst they ummed and arrghed.I took up there service by ringing sales who told me to ring head office, headoffice told me to ring cust svcs, cust svcs told me they did not know of any offers transferred me to Carphone warehouse sales, they could not find the order and asked to take it again but then decided to transfer me to sales again. Sales were unable to accept that they should honour the weekend offer....Forget it.
The upshot is, check with carphone warfehouse as they are currently offering better deals than talk talk itself, however i'm going elsewhere.
You may ask why.... ring talk talk and you will realise they are still rubbish at customer service, their systems are pants and their sales people are mindless lemmings:mad:
