Grrrrrrr - Halifax

I have just been on line checking my accounts etc, and it seems that Halifax have very kindly slashed my credit card limit by 1/2!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it..... Obviously, I phoned to find out why as I haven't done anything wrong and was going to be using it in a couple of weeks. They said its because of information they have received from experion (or was it equifax? - one or the other). I'm a bit cross as I have paid off a lot of debt over the past couple of years and they have never had a problem pushing up my limit and have not applied for anything else for a good 3 years at least.

Am a bit cross as that was my 'buffer' and was going to be using it to put a tow bar on my car, but I guess on the other hand if I haven't got it, I can't use it.....

Stupid thing is, they left my overdraft at £2K!!!!!

Rant over, apologies....
