    Afternoon everyone,

Hope all is well today. The sunshine is lovely isn't it?

Today I have brought some of my lunch in (though bought a baked potato for £1 and 2 cans of diet coke for 50p each - aggrrgghh!) and all my snacks into work, plus squash from home, in the vain attempt to give up diet coke.

    Later on, I will:
do the washing at 30 degrees and see if it works
make a loaf of bread in the BM
drive to the pub / not go
work out a list of meals we could make from the store cupboard / freezer
    check my online banking
cut up my 2 credit cards
update my sig with debts

Hope everyone has a nice afternoon,

    Ali x

It's glorious today isn't it
    Today I have/will:
    • clicks
    • apply for hubbys tax rebate:T
    • some preparatory gardening, in order to clear the veg plot at the weekend.
    • go to a meeting tonight which should mean that the final £2K owed to us is paid. (I want to ask for interest as it's been four years since we lent £10K, but they are a charity and I don't feel I should)
    • Go to bed early, so that I wake early enough to walk to work......

Today I am going to go drive in my car...

Whilst it doesn't sound very DFW, its a courtesy car, has over a quarter of tank of petrol in it, they delivered it practically on empty... They aren't having around £15 of my fuel when I take it back this afternoon, so I am going to go for a drive and do a few things I need to do before I take it back!

    Afternoon everyone :hello:

Headoutthesand - yes i put courgettes in everything. You can grate them in too, if you prefer. I adore them.

    Today I have:

    Walked to work and back
    Eaten storecupboard/leftovers lunch
No washing to do!! did it all yesterday
Walked round shops but bought nothing - feeling strong today!

    And I will:

Check for mystery shops - you are right GR have gone quiet. There was a time when I used to make £50 a month easily from this. Gone down to around £10 a month now.

    Do surveys if any
    HAVE A NO SPEND DAY - FIRST FOR AGES!!!!!:T :T :T

    Enjoy the sunshine everyone!!

OK, here's my list of DFW things for today:
    • Join the small things DFW thread :DDone
    • Avoid buying food from sandwich bar at lunchtime. Done - ended up with free lunch at work thanks to meeting leftovers!
    • Log my spends online using the Spending Diary Done
    • Only spend money on things that are absolutely essential. So far, so good.....
    • Hunt out book that I've just sold on Amazon and prepare for posting.
    • Daily clicks Done
    • Set up MS Money on computer
    • Write cheque to pay credit card bill
    • Hunt out savings account book so that can transfer savings to pay off part of credit card tomorrow (have already taken this into account when calculating credit card totals, so need to get my butt into gear!)
    • Cancel magazine subscription
  • First of all.....lololol@ klane and 'wuckfit' - I'm so going to try and create/instigate a situation so I can use this:D :T :p :rotfl: :p :T :D

    Today I have/will/do:

Pegged out washing to line dry:T

Had free lunch due to being on lunch duty at school:D

Not put on heating or the immerser...had to use it last night after all for baths and water still hot today:T :A

Checked online banking, increased Child Tax Credit there so, although I've not had written confirmation, my new award has obviously been processed:T

(I know once CTC and WTC are confirmed it will mean that my Housing Benefit and Council Tax will go up, and of course cost of living is rising daily, but even a teensy bit extra is better than a teensy bit less:D )

Make dinner, Spag Bol minus courgettes:D , with items from storecupboard/fridge:A

Check over lists prior to tomorrow's excursion to evil, blood sucking:eek: purse robbing Co-op:mad:

    Think that's about it;)

Hope everyone has had a lovely sunny day where ever they are and a warm balmy evening ahead:rotfl: :T :rotfl:

Cleosmum - GR have only ever had 1 job for me despite the fact I live in a big city. And that's in hmm, 3 months? I did get paid for it recently by them though.

I live in a relatively small town and used to get about 4-6 jobs a week posted, sometimes more, now we are getting about 2 a month. When they do get posted they get snapped up within about 3 minutes and I cant hovver over my emails waiting on the off chance that they do finally list something.

I have just started with retail eyes but I accepted 1 job last week for tomorrow and the blighters wont let me take on any more.

Have reg'd with gapbuster and am not allowed to look until I have completed their mammoth orienteering program and passed tests at 100% pass

I have only been doing this for the last 4 years, I think I might know what I am doing...
