    Hi all!

Feeling happy today, was given the task of ordering some office furntiure... went by quidco on the offchance and now am tracking £53!! yay me!!!

so few perks of this job, i'm delighted!!!! Shhhhhh though!

I also got an additional 20% off by quoting quidco20, so boss should be pleased. but i doubt it!

Lovely sunny day here in Aberdeenshire.
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Maz - They should count themselves lucky you saved em some money rather than quibble about getting cashback for yourself (way to go girl)!

Toto - good to hear from you. Glad the sickness is going now and hope the tiredness goes soon too so you get to enjoy yourself. Tell your daughter about the nasty bacteria and your hygiene concerns regarding dirt (on clothes, bins, dishes etc). Play it right and you could be seriously looked after for the next few months by your own personal slaves...

Not long to go before I'm outta here (53 minutes) yes I am counting in minutes now

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    I doubt it!!;)

On another note - I have to let off steam.... (sorry - likely to be rather long)

Some estate agents are such wuckfits. I am looking for a flat to rent as I really want to live on my own and (although it is going to knacker my dfd it will save my sanity). I saw one last week with a lovely estate agent (hurrah) but today I was going to look at one with an outfit that I had heard bad things about but I really liked the look at the flat.

I turned up and the guy took me out to his car, I got in and he said he was going to pop in and get another couple of sets of keys. I asked where the flats were and he said a location that I didn't really want to live in - lets call it x-street, I said I didn't fancy it and he said 'well that is where we are going now isn't it'. My incredulous response was 'what 39 somewhere road, that isn't x-street' to which he responded 'oh i got you mixed up, i let that this morning'.

Now I could be charitable and assume this was an innocent error, apart from I had registered an interest through rightmove and confirmed the address with three different people including him yesterday.

So the upshot is that I wasted my time to look at a (yes you guessed it) more expensive flat, in a location I didn't want to live in, above a quite rough pub with a back entrance that would have been completely unsuitable for a woman living on her own (and a rather unwelcoming landlord).

Being bitter and twised I mainly looked at this property to waste his time and parking voucher as payback for him wasting my time.

Usually things like this don't annoy me and I tend to chalk it up to 'oh well anyone can make a mistake' and give a second chance, but for some reason this has really got my hackles up. Anyhow, am voting with my feet won't be using the twunty agency from today, can't be bothered with second chances when they got it so wrong after so many phone calls yesterday.

Anyway, it has a happy ending as I am going for a second viewing of the place that I looked at last week with the lovely estate agent (I went straight round there to arrange an appointment after the look at the wrong flat)

Phew, someone pass me a cold towel.

    I feel your pain Poor!

My mum has been looking for private rental accomodation recently and the amount of times we have had No shows by EAs, sent to wrong address/street or sent to houses already let its been a total nightmare. Our country seems to operate on a wave of incompetence at the moment I think.

And you should not be looking at anywhere with dodgy back entrances......back entrances are totally unsuitable for women as you have said;) :rotfl:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
