morning all!!!!!

another lovely day here - although another morning of waking up with a head like a hangover for me (fellow hayfever sufferers will know what I'm on about!!) :(

I'm off to work in just under an hour.

I'm wondering about maybe booking some leave. I've been in the job 2 months now and thought about maybe a couple of days next month. Any thoughts on whether that's too soon into a new job? It's sooooo many years since I was new in a job, I'm not sure how long to wait!

    morning...

I'm not going to gloat about hayfever cos I know that in August / September & October I'm going to be suffering (but I'm enjoying the fact that at the moment I'm not).

I'm not sleeping properly - woke up last night ever hour and half, finally gave up on sleep at 5am, read a book and then closed my eyes at 6.25 only to be rudely awakened by the alarm at 6.30am:mad:

'tis a gorgeous day here and on the radio this morning they were making noises that it would continue for another week:j

    Have a good day everyone

Keren, I don't think that's too early to book leave, especially as you're only talking about a couple of days. Glad to hear that Quidco money has gone in - I've been desperately waiting for that (and a couple of cheques that I paid in on 1st May to clear ).. off to work and to check the bank on the way!!

    Have a good one x

it hit the account this morning so hopefully its the same for you redsquirrel - it's taken a bit of time as it was paid on the 30th by Quidco!

I think I'll book a couple of days in mid-June.

Quidco hit my account this morning too after they paid it out on the 30th, was only £20.04 but it all helps.

I'm off to visit my Nan in Poole today. Think the air con will be on!!!

Hope to have a NSD but I do need some fabric conditioner & bread.

    Enjoy the sunshine xxx

ps - Keren, I don't think that's too early at all -will you just spend the time at home? x

Gorgeous day here too, and I looked on the BBC weather last night and hot sun until at least tuesday (although tomorrow it may rain). Have a feeling the the old BBQ might have to make an appearance over the weekend along with the other 99% of the country!
Work again today, typical in this nice sunshine. Going to take DD to the park for a good run around this morning.
No quidco money for me yet...was supposed to get one lot in April but still not paid to them :(
Right must go and get DD out of bed....bad night last night so she is sleeping in.

I`ll catch a little bit of it in between shifts but i`ve got a short shift followed by a real long shift from 3.20-10.25pm!
Hey ho it`ll help get the debts down & may hopefully shift a lb or two too ready for my weigh in day tomorrow!
Right must get dressed, take the dog to the park, do the shopping & post some ebay parcels before i go to work.
Enjoy the sun all you lucky people who are off.
