I currently have 4 funds within a Vantage ISA wrapper with Hargreaves Lansdown.
I have a few questions about when i decide to sell a particular fund:
* How do i determine the fees that i'll pay to sell the fund?
* Do you pay the same fees if you switch the holding to another fund (as you do to sell)?
* Can i hold the money from the sale of the fund as cash until I am ready to re-invest my money?
Thanks

Have a look at the key features document for the fund you're selling. Most of the time there are no fees for selling funds, only for buying (maybe 98% at a very rough guess). An example of funds which do charge an exit fee are the M&G class X funds (Ian W mentioned it on the forum yesterday I think) - those funds do charge an exit fee, although how much it is I must admit I don't know.

Well the standard switching charge is 0.25% but there may be other costs involved including any exit fees and creation charges involved with the switch. The only way to be sure is to ask HL in advance of you switching.* Do you pay the same fees if you switch the holding to another fund (as you do to sell)?

You earn tiered interest on cash held with HL, it's documented in their T&C IIRC. 0
