Newbe....Car insurance....

Hi Guys,

I am a newbe on here but been using the site for a while now.....

Now I am 25, have on paper 2 years no claims. But i have no claimed on my insurance since 2004. But have no offical proof (i dont think) of this. Over the last 4 years i have changed cars and insurers alot....currently on 8 cars!

I have a new job that gives me £500 a month to buy a car, but it has to be a new car. So i have gone for a Volvo C30 D5. this is group 14. I am driving a Land Rover discovery TD5 2001 which is group 16. Currently land rover insurance is £600 a year business...but i am getting quotes from £1100 to £2000 a year on the volvo......

Now i am interested to know if there is anything i can do about the years of no claim driving i have....does anyone know how i can prove this....and most importantly will anyone in the insurance world listen to me?! :)

Thanks,,

Jon
