Deleting a program. Help please!

I have a program called :- mlRC I don't know if it is important or if I can delete it. Does anyone know what it is for? I need to make more space.

mIRC is a program for Internet Relay Chat to chat to other people around the world or people you know or people in your area, etc. If you don't chat then you can delete it.0

It goes without saying that a program should be uninstalled properly otherwise bits can be left behind all over the place!
Uninstall programs via control panel -> add/remove programs or the program may have an uninstall option in the start panel. 0
