tax credit extra payment

Did anyone else get an extra payment 3-4 days after renewing there claim ?

yes me!when i enquired they said it was arrears from the beginning of the tax year0

When you renewed you claim if the income you declared was less than that upon which your previous years claim was based on then you might have been underpaid and hence owed money by TCOThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Mine was more than I declared and I got a payment. As I recall though, every year I've always had a few wierd payments in the first couple of months before it settles down for the year. End amount overall is the same as the award though.0

they said before that the system boots out a payment because it's like a new claim but who knows as long as they dont try to take it back.0
