A steel framed arch came down in my garden when we had all those high winds a while ago and frankly, its knackered.
Am trying to dismantle it to take it to the recycling place but all the screws are well rusted and I can't budge them.
Any ideas anyone?

A Hack saw or Angle Grinder if you wont need it again0
-
Give the screwdriver a good clout into the screw head with a hammer - then turn - may give you the extra purchase you need.0

My Dad was an apprentice trained chippy and had nearly 2 million years experience in the trade (or so it seemed). He always said if you are having trouble with a screw, screw it in slightly first and then unscrerw it. I have used this frequently on stubborn screws and have found that it works most of the time.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

If its going to scrap just cut the thing up with a hacksaw.'Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship'. -Benjamin Franklin.0
