How to get rid of connecting password

How do I stop having to sign in with my password for 'microsoft networking', the bit when you first log on before your desktop comes up? It's a pain as I switch on and have to come back to enter password before it all comes on and it takes ages in the mornings. My friend's computer bypasses the password.

stand alone...and nobody else uses it,
