Aberdeen Assets

Hello
Has anyone had any dealings and success/failure in recovering funds from Aberdeen Assets- this is reference to the a originally taken out with Murray Income Trusts in the 90's, which consequently collapsed after being transferred to Aberdeen Assets a few years later. We are still getting statements even now, with the £20K policy now being worth £0.01.
This was an investment trust PEP 'Aberdeen Plans'. In the statement it staes they are unable to close the account until the liquidation/ receivership has finally been completed.
Are there any members that have had dealings they can tell us about?
