Euro Disney Sca Shares

Hi
I have never bought shares before but I am looking to buy 20 shares in Euro Disney SCA. This is because you can then join the shareholders club and get discounts when visiting Disneyland Paris.
Please can anyone tell me where to buy and how to go about it? Also what charges would I be expected to pay for the transaction?
Thanks

However, if you wanted to buy in, then Halifax's portfolio builder would allow you to get in at a transaction cost of either free of £1.50. However, this would then leave the shares held in a nominee account rather than directly owned by you, so the perks might not transfer.
For certificated shares with perks guaranteed, you'd be looking at quite a hefty transaction fee (£25 would be my guess for them to be registered and sent out to you, but I've never done this and so it is a pure guess). I can't recommend anywhere to do this because I've never traded certificates other than the get rid of them for free!I am a Chartered Financial Planner

Hi, Sheila,
You need to open an account with a stockbroker.
20 shares will cost you about £15 [ edit: sorry, that should be £140 ], plus between £1.50 and £12.50 dealing charge depending on the broker you use. If you need a certificate Selftrade will charge another £10 on top ( they are cheapest for certificated dealing AFAIK ), but according to this thread, a contract note is enough proof of your holding.0
