Decking question

I want to deck quite a large area of my back garden (25 sq.metres). Decking is pretty expensive for what it is. Can I use any treated timber? Is there anything I should be concerned about. Minimum thickness etc?

Check B&Q on line prices, for larger quantities of boards, you'll save quite a bit more - don't forget they offer free delivery over £400, if you're buying other stuff too!

Then once you've got it, try to work out what to do with the surplus - we've gone a bit too keen with our order!!

Maybe a neighbor would want some, so the cost could be split?
