Advice needed with air con in C3.Am i being ripped off?

my air con wasnt working so i took it to a citreon recognised garage.They regassed it etc for £69.99 but as i was leaving they told me they had found a leak which involved the bumper being removed....and another cost of £100.He thinks its the valve.He has also phoned me to say that i need to be prepared that more cost may be involved as they do not know if they can get certain parts off easily if they are rusted.

Im beginning to think that this is an excessive amount of money to pay but maybe someone could fill me in otherwise.At the moment there is absolutely no difference in the air con but was told this is because of the leak.

Any advice appreciated.

If its leaking, it'll stop working when the gasses have escaped. The part about rusted nuts adding to the cost of the job is codswallop unless the bolt they screw onto sheers off.
I think I'd be going elsewhere.
