I got up at 1.00 am yesterday and decided to do my shopping in the 24 hour tesco at 4.00 am (what a bizarre experience that was!). My advice - don't do it.

I spent too much money but bought a paul mckenna book, change your life in seven days. It was a toss up between that and the lose weight one, but I though with the change your life one I could kill two birds with one stone.

I have also been watching the spa of weightloss for life or some such title and thought I would buy the Life Detox book. It looks really good and I may try it. I have been trying to lose two stone for almost three years and can only really go a couple of days on a 'diet'. I really want to change my mind set.

After work I went for my first run since almost before christmas. Although it was tough keeping up with the other girls i run with I really enjoyed myself. Bit stiff this morning....Hopefully it won't lead to another bad cold and a reoccurance of the chronic fatigue, which lead me to give up running for a while.

Cat - thanks for your kind words...... I am repeating them as we speak.

I'm quite liking being back at work thanks - it's not half as bad as I expected!

It's Natasha's birthday today so we are having a little party for her - not sure what she will make of it all, but I hope she will like the cake at least, as she has a rather sweet tooth!! :A

Well I have to get my caffeine kick somehow.... Seriously, I am not that far into the detox yet (actually only on page 3 of the book:rotfl: ) but I am looking to the future.

Good to hear the job is working out for you.....And give Natasha a big kiss from me and tell her happy birthday. Time flies, I remember you having her and telling us from your hospital bed...
