I have to commend Amazon's customer service.

We have never had a problem before, have always had quick delivery, and have taken advantage of their 30 day price drop promise a couple of times.

I returned some anti virus software as it caused horrendous conflicts on my pc, never expected them to refund me but they did without quibble.

I managed to order a carpet cleaner which should have been 249.99 but they mispriced it at £100, and honoured it.

But recently I bought a canon IXUS 860IS Digital Camera from them.
It was coupled with a free camera case but when you added the case it took off the cost of the case but took the same off again. again they honoured it.

Then after 28 days the price dropped by £24 so I emailed them and they promptly refunded the difference.

Then last weekend the camera developed a fault with the lens not re housing and not focusing so I emailed them. They replied telling me they would be sending out a replacement that day and apologised profusely.

Within the hour I got an email saying it had been dispatched and it arrived next day.

They had told me to send the old one back by recorded delivery and said once I had done, to email them the cost of the postage and they would refund that which has been done.

I got notification yesterday that they had received the broken camera back and apologised again.

I am very very impressed with this company. I like the call back facility after some doubt ( you put in your phone number into a self refreshing window on the site and click call me, and your phone rings straight away with someone at the other end so no waiting in a Q and it does not cost you anything)

Well done Amazon, keep up the good work guys!
