I'm selling a car at only £300, but it's sort of a 'classic' so i'm told! (1990 Audi Coupe 2.2E if that means anything to you). It is mot'd & tax and does run well, but needs some work on the paint/windows.

I'm firstly not sure to advertise as a normal car, or if the work/classis status/price means i should do it somewhere specific.

Also i've sold on e-bay but ever cars, and don't really understand the 'i'm advertising this elsewhere so may remove from sale before the auction ends' that alot of car sales have in the details. (how or why)

Also I know nothing about cars, nothing atall so wouldn't want anyone calling me, would prefer e-mail but i know this means i might miss alot of people who'd rather call.

I'm on guntree and wooo already (i searched here and found them!)

Where do i advertise? HELP!
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Auto trader, you local paper or buy and sell?

Or advertise in local shop windows.

I'd say Ebay. The "advertising elsewhere bit" means they have it advertised locally so if it sells via that before the auction ends, they'll withdraw it. It's also a sly way of saying "make me a bid".

It is free for private sellers, so nothing to loose and it can work well.
