 wouldn't that be great! would help people in every aspect of their lives..... the complete lack of understanding about basic finance is staggering, and one the reasons so many people end up in debt (and bad commercial debt at that!)Maybe economics should be part of the national curriculem(sic).:happyhear0

            Think most people are aware of how much student loans are going to cost and the interest rates, if they dont surely its there own fault for not looking into it properly before applying for one? I dont know all the ins and outs of the loans but as a student made sure i knew the basics before applying.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

            Flower08, just look at the number who complained when the interest rate went up this year. Some even claimed that that increase was criminal... To be fair though the student loans and going to university are marketed too strongly. But I'll leave that before I start a debate about the whole 50% target thing, and whether a degree (any degree) really makes you more employable.0
