I phoned Casio before and they have said they will do a free quote for me if I send them my camera. Just got back from the post office £4.25 special delivery on its way to Casio.0

Don't claim on your household insurance. It counts as a claim and you have it for 5 years on some policies. We claimed for my husband's glasses (he left them on top of the car and forgot them so they fell off and got smashed).
Cost £118 to replace and now that counts as a claim. It has cost us more than that in new household insurance.0
