Birkenstocks (MERGED)

Not sure if this has been posted before but Makro have Madrid and Gizeh ladies Birkenstocks for £20+vat. Not a bad price, unfortunately not the leather ones but hey ho.

Not sure what branches have them but picked them up from Enfield today.

Yeah Costco are selling them too at £18.90 +vat I think they were.

They had like a metalic lilac colour, dull gold, natural (tan), red, metalic Mint Green (looked the best)

I'm not a fan of these...I know a lot of folk are...Great price though. :T

Costco also have Birkenstocks again this year, same styles as above.

I found I needed a narrower fitting though than the ones sold in Costco and so bought the very similar Betula sandals from TK Maxx (Madrid style). That was last year but they may have them again.

Do Costco also have male Birkenstock, or just female?

If anyone lives near Warrington, the QVC outlet shop often have these in. I've bought Madrids for £8 the 2 strap style for £8.50 and Gizeh's for £8.50. They have random sizes and it's luck of the draw what they have in but worth a look if you're nearby.

They certainly had male sandals and I think they were Birkenstock but didn't look too closely. Perhaps someone else will confirm 100%?

If you need more info on how Birkenstocks should fit see here

    http://www.birkenstock.co.uk/index.php?m=catalogue&a=sizing

It also tells you how to tell if a pair is regular fit or narrow fit. Last year all the ones sold in Costco when I looked were regular which felt too wide for me and made my feet look square!!

Betula are part of the Birkenstock brand.

The ones I bought from qvc were the narrow ones. Never realised, so ended up seling them on ebay for what I bought them for so no loss there.
