Contents and Buildings insurance always together!!!

i am trying to get a quote for contents insurance via quidco lloyds tsb

quidco says;

£50for buildings insurance£50for contents insurance£120for home insurance (buildings and contents)

however http://www.insurance.lloydstsb.com/personal/home/homepoverview.asp?CommCode=MH652&Promotion=TRADEDOUBLER&Campaign=PRICE&Model=MMSERV&tduid=25405b0c0ab108e9939a4a072e5a0fa6

lloyds only allows u to get a quote for both, i can't find a link for just contents if u do the quote they ask about the building.

im getting really sick of this as i have a flat in a block which pays the buildings insurance through one company so i can't get them together. it really annoys me as any insurance site u go on wants both policies with them and starts asking me about the construction of the flat!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

i have been looking for a while but they quote for buildings insurance too, u would think they would take account of the fact there are hundreds of apartment blocks that can't do it this way. idiots.

i can't email lloyds either, useless website for contact details,probably have to call them but so many insurance sites are like this!

    Er, bit harsh calling them idiots, especially as on the second page of the quotation process there is the question:
    "What cover do you require?"
    and a drop down menu that gives the options:
    "Buildings and Contents
    Buildings only
    Contents only"
    Of course questions will be asked about the construction of the building as this will affect the risk to it's contents! For example, the contents of a house made of timber with a thatched roof are far more likely to be damaged by fire than the contents of a brick building with a tiled or slate roof!

    LOL raskazz.

    Actually, it is a question or comment we see quite often on here. I'm not sure why people get the wrong opinion as the sites are pretty clear in allowing you to pick buildings, contents or both. However, some just cant see it.

    I used LV for contents only through quidco, it tracked at £60 and is currently "sent to merchant" status. Premium was around £1xx so nice little saver if it pulls through.
