Pension contributions and TC

When hubby rang the TCO last year he was told that he could'nt minus the pension contributions from his gross pay. After reading on here before, i have found this is incorrect.
So this year can i confirm that he has to take off he's pension contributions off he's gross pay and put that figure down.
We have just received our renewal forms but have not had he's P60 as yet, will that confirm the total amount he has paid in pension.Sorry for asking this just don't want to make a mistake and get overpaid!

If you look at the gross taxable on his last pay slip for 07/08 it should be the same amount that will be on his p60. I have just checked my husbands and these 2 amounts are the same. He also pays into a company pension.
  • My hubby changed jobs so his p60 will have different figures, from last years figure.
